2015

ESTABLISHMENT

The company was founded under the name Investmentsdia s.r.o. on 12 March 2015 by Mr. Szabolcs Mikolai. Since then, the Company has followed a road of continued success and growth. As a cornerstone for trading, the Company obtained its first power trading license from the Czech regulatory authority on 26 May 2015. It was around the same time that the company established its first trading relationship with Alpiq Energy SE, one of the major players on the European wholesale energy market. In order to complement its presence on Central European markets, in its first year the company also entered into a balancing agreement with German TSO Amprion.

2016

FURTHER LICENSING

If 2015 was busy, 2016 was doubly so. Expansion was the main driver, with the company entering a new market in Hungary. First obtaining its license from the Hungarian regulatory authority and later creating its own balancing circle within MAVIR, Hungarian TSO, were the most important steps. A market presence in Hungary provided to be success early on as the earnings of the Company continued to grow exponentially.

2017

IMPORTANT MILESTONE

An important milestone occurred by the end of 2017. Mr. Kristián Szabó joined the company with a 50% stake. This brought new momentum and times of rapid growth began. At the very beginning of 2018, the company took two strategic decisions. First, it entered into a partnership with the biggest power producer in Czech Republic – ČEZ a.s. Second, the company entered the cross-border capacity market by signing an agreement with JAO, which opened up vast new trading opportunities.

RETAINING MARKET POSITION

Later on in 2018, important shift in strategy happened. The company signed market access agreements with both of its biggest long-term trading partners to cement even further its position on European energy markets and to make it possible to capitalize on changing market conditions. Moreover, the company entered the complex and highly volatile world of financial instruments by entering into several ISDA standard Agreements and adding swap trades to its portfolio.

2020

IN THE SIGN OF TRANSFORMATION

2020 was a year of great transformation for the company. It changed its corporate structure by becoming owned by two separate legal entities. Of course, the beneficial owners remained the same – the two founders. The change also involved even greater professionalization within the company and the hiring of new employees - professional traders who were chosen for their skills in reading the market and generating value.

2021

ENTAURI TRADING s.r.o.

2021 is the year in which the name Entauri trading s.r.o. became reality. Rebranding marked another milestone in the life of this still growing but already widely experienced company. Currently, the company is continuing to be an important player on the wholesale energy market in terms of both traded volumes and market expertise.
